Virginia Juanita Lemons

Virginia Juanita Lemons, 83, of Hockley passed away March 4, 2024.

Born July 25, 1940 in Spurger, Texas to Heber and Frances Odom, she lived in Hockley for many years.  She was retired from the childcare industry where she influenced the lives of many young children.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Heber and Frances Odom.

Juanita was survived by her loving husband, John H. Lemons, Jr.; children, Josh Lemons, Joseph and Carolyn Lemons and Jalynne Geigley; grandchildren, Ethan and Kaylene Lemons, Brady Lemons, Cami and Ben Brown, Brittany and Matt McVay, Jennifer and Brent Black, Lindy Brant and Chris Lemons, Jacob and Noelle Lemons, Elizabeth, Garrett, Lainey, Kallie, Avery, and Walker Geigley; great-grandchildren, Caden and Hunter Lemons, Rylee Quinn McVay and Julie Reyna Lemons and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11 am at the Town Bluff Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10 am until 11 am at the cemetery.
